Description
Old lithography signed by Ludwig Rohbock and included in “Ungarn und Siebenbürgen in malerischen Original-Ansichten”, publisher Gustav Georg Lange, Darmstadt 1863-1864 with texts by János Hunfalvy. The engraving captures the Praetorium Castrum near the Cerna Valley and the Roman road leading toward the famous thermal baths Bad Mehadia / Baile Herculane, which now is an UNESCO World Heritage Site beeing part of Frontiers of the Roman Empire in Dacia.
